Founder of InnerZen
Hello and welcome. Throughout my career, I have been deeply drawn to supporting people during times of acute uncertainty. My clinical background uniquely positions me to understand the delicate intersections of physical illness, family building, and clinical mental health.
I bring years of specialized medical and maternal mental health experience to our sessions:
Oncology & Oncofertility Expertise: I concurrently serve as a specialized oncology social worker at MD Anderson Cancer Center, where I guide patients and families through the complex emotional and life transitions associated with cancer care, treatment, and medical uncertainty.
Maternal & Perinatal Training: Previously, I practiced at St. Joseph Medical Center, a historic Houston institution recognized for its leadership in maternal and infant care. There, I specialized in supporting individuals and families through the profound emotional landscape of pregnancy, postpartum transitions, and neonatal experiences.
My ultimate goal is to combine this advanced medical and clinical training with a deeply compassionate environment, creating a space where you feel truly understood and empowered to move forward in ways that align with your values.
Outside of my clinical work, I thrive when spending time outdoors hiking, camping, and paddling. I share many of these adventures with my Doberman, Halo, who keeps my life active, joyful, and entertaining. Spending time immersed in nature helps me stay grounded, maintain perspective, and actively practice the very same mindfulness and resilience principles I encourage in my clients.
